VINCE NEIL, JACKYL, POP EVIL, THE LAST VEGAS To Perform At 'Throttle Fest Chicago'
June 4, 2013The Throttle Fest Chicago music festival will be staged from June 20-23 at Toyota Park. Coined the Midwest's Largest 3 Day Bike Rally, the event has become a cultural phenomenon where fans of music and motorcycles assemble en masse. On June 21, Vince Neil of MÖTLEY CRÜE headlines, with appearances confirmed by POP EVIL, THE LAST VEGAS and WAYLAND. On June 22, Throttle Fest organizer Jesse James Dupree's JACKYL headlines, with support sets from his son Nigel Dupree and AMERICAN MOTHERLOAD.
The entire cast of the hit television show "Full Throttle Saloon" on the TruTV network will be on-site for the festivities. Characters including "Full Throttle" owner Michael Ballard, his girlfriend Angie and her Flaunt Dancers, Jesse James Dupree, Goat, and others will be featured in the events scheduled. Throttle Fest also presents many of the attractions from the legendary club's Sturgis location, including the Wall of Death, the Burn Out Pit, the mechanical bull, Pro Blitz Wrestling, and others alongside a massive gathering of vendors congregating in the Chicagoland area with motorcycle accessories and other items of interest. The "Full Throttle Saloon" will be erected in Toyota Park, bringing the legendary Sturgis environment to life for Throttle Fest.
Jesse James Dupree states: "Bringing everything that is Full Throttle Saloon to Chicago was such a success last year that I was worried the city officials would outlaw it happening again. Instead, they have made me the honorary mayor and my office will be located at Toyota Park June 20-23 for Throttle Fest 2013. This year is going to be one better as we have massive amounts of camping available. Come on…. and bring the party. Puh pow!"
The four-day VIP pass is $100, while the two-day weekend pass if $30.00. Doors open Friday at 11 a.m., with single tickets available at $20.00. For Saturday, doors are set for 9:00 a.m., with a $20.00 admission.
